IELTS is organized by the British Council and the University of Cambridge and was created to meet the standards of British educational institutions and English-speaking educational institutions internationally. The scoring scale for IELTS ranges from 1 to 9. Candidates are scored in each of the individual sections (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), which are then combined into an Overall Band Score.
IELTS exams in Athens and Thessaloniki are held every month throughout the year. Results are issued 13 days after the examination.
