CERTIFICATIONS PLIDA
The PLIDA (Progetto
Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri) is a diploma, the exams of which are organized
by the Società Dante Alighieri in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and the University of Rome 'La Sapienza.' It certifies linguistic
proficiency according to the 6 levels of the Common European Framework of
Reference for Language Learning and Teaching and consists of 4 exam parts
certifying the core skills: listening comprehension (ascoltare), reading
comprehension (leggere), writing (scrivere), and speaking (parlare).
The exams are held in Athens and Thessaloniki in May or June (depending on the
level) as well as in October or November (depending on the level).
